My blog manager said to "enter catchy title here" and so the only thing I could come up with was Happy Leap Day?!? Yes, today is Leap Day. Happens only every four years. I always wished I was born on Leap Day (I was only a few hours from it!) because I have always loved being different. I thought, how cool would that to only have your birthday be every 4 years!? Anywho, today is actually Leap Day. I would've only been 11, but tomorrow, I'll be 44.

I am updating my website as I like to do every few months. It gives me a chance to really look at my co-creators. When I slow down just a bit, I get to reflect on my work. It no longer feels like work. It feels like play, love and joy! I get to create with people I love. I get to grow and learn with my friends and family. I get to create a healthy work/life balance through my love for photography. I love that I get to be with my kids and my kids get to go with me and be around some pretty amazing humans and experiences. I love that I get to photograph my family. I've learned that family isn't always biological. I've learned that it's ok to fall in love with your co-creators. (Thank you, Annie Leibovitz)
I'm so grateful for what I get to do as a profession. I'm so grateful for the people I get to work with and hang around! I'm so grateful I get to involve the kids in "work life".
I'm grateful for this random day every, four years. It gives us an extra day to pause, reflect and focus on what we are truly grateful. May we all continue to learn, grow and be around those who nurture our healing and health.
